World Climate: Cause, Effect and Solution
In this book, new mathematical formulas showing the relationships between the CO2 content in the atmosphere, CO2 related green house effect and the sea level are derived.
The consequences of the found relationships are discussed, along with different solutions to replace fossil fuel with environmental neutral alternatives.
Summary of the findings:
1) The current CO2 content of 400 ppm in the atmosphere will eventually lead to a temperature increase of approx. 3˚C.
Beyond 400 ppm, the earth’s temperature will increase by about 1˚C for each 22 ppm additional increase in CO2 content.
2) The current CO2 content of 400 ppm in the atmosphere will eventually lead to a sea level rise of approx. 25 m.
Beyond 400 ppm, the sea level will increase by approx. 1 m for each 3 ppm additional increase in CO2 content.
3) It will cost approx. 40,000 billion US $ (50% of the worlds GNP) to replace all fossil fuels with renewable fuel.
Investments beyond this will eventually lead to a reduction in the CO2 content.
